Tapatio Reposado Tequila

Tapat??o Reposado Tequila is a highly respected, traditional expression from the renowned La Alte??a Distillery in Jalisco, Mexico, where it is still crafted by the Camarena family. Made from 100% Blue Weber agave from the Los Altos region, the agave is cooked in stone/brick ovens and the juice is extracted using both a roller mill and a tahona. This tequila is twice-distilled in copper pot stills and then aged for 4-6 months in American white oak bourbon barrels. This process imparts a classic, balanced profile. On the nose, expect buttery cooked agave, caramel, and vanilla, with light notes of oak and spice. The palate is rich with dominant cooked agave flavor, black pepper, and subtle hints of coffee and cocoa, finishing softly with a touch of spice.
