Shortcross Single Malt 7 Year Whiskey

Shortcross Peated Single Malt 7 Year Old Irish Whiskey is a uniquely innovative expression, proudly double distilled and matured at Rademon Estate Distillery in County Down. This limited vintage release is exceptional, having been exclusively matured for a minimum of seven years in casks that previously held a Cognac and Orange Liqueur. Crafted from 55ppm peated malt, it presents a complex profile. The nose offers hints of orange blossom, fresh mint, and tropical fruits. On the palate, orange notes blend with milk chocolate and mint as the smoke shines through. The finish is long, rich, and oily, combining sweet smoke and chocolate orange. Bottled at 46.0% ABV, it is non-chill filtered and a global first in its use of this cask type.
