Lagavulin is known as "the king of Islay" by connoisseurs and professionals. This highly sought-after Single Malt has been aged in oak casks for at least 16 years and has the enormous peat-smoke flavour that is distinctive of southern Islay.
Tasting note: The palate is filled with a mild but robust sweetness from dry peat smoke, followed by sea and salt with hints of wood.
