KI NO Tea Gin

KI NO TEA Gin is a collaboration between The Kyoto Distillery and a celebrated tea master, resulting in a unique expression that beautifully marries a traditional gin profile with the elegance of Japanese tea. Distilled in Kyoto, Japan, this spirit features a core botanical blend that includes juniper, alongside exquisite green tea (Gyokuro and Tencha) sourced from the Uji region. The process involves steeping the tea leaves in rice spirit for a refined extraction before blending and distillation. This innovative approach yields a remarkably aromatic and smooth gin. The palate offers a delicate balance of sweet juniper and sharp citrus, followed by the fragrant, bittersweet, and herbaceous notes of high-quality green tea. The finish is clean, long, and exceptionally soft. KI NO TEA is bottled at 45.1% ABV, making it ideal for a sublime Gin & Tonic or a sophisticated Martini where its complex tea character can truly shine.
