Two generational wine families unite to bring color to whiskey with Gold Spot’s latest addition: a thirteen-year-aged whiskey. This release highlights the use of wine casks, blending heritage and innovation. Matured in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, and then in Valpolicella Classica wine casks for 17 months, it features subtle spice, dark fruits, berry compote, and a sweet oak finish. Celebrating seven generations of the Mitchell family and Marco Speri’s winemaking legacy, this whiskey balances Irish whiskey and Italian wine, showcasing the expertise of both families.
