Noilly Prat Dry Vermouth

Noilly Prat Dry Vermouth is a distinguished French aperitif, meticulously crafted and aged since 1813 in the Mediterranean port of Marseillan. This complex and pale gold vermouth begins as a blend of two white wines from the South of France: Picpoul and Clairette. These wines are then aged for eight months outdoors in oak casks, exposing them to the elements, which imparts a unique, slightly oxidized character. Following maturation, the wine is blended with a precise selection of over 20 aromatic herbs and spices, including chamomile, coriander, and elderflower, before a final resting period in vats. The result is an exceptionally dry and delicately nuanced flavor profile, featuring notes of floral honey, subtle spice, and a balanced salinity. It is an essential component for classic cocktails, most famously lending its complex depth to the perfect Martini.
