Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge is a sophisticated French liqueur that masterfully blends fine French Cognac with the essence of exotic bitter oranges. Created in 1880 by Louis-Alexandre Marnier Lapostolle, it remains a celebrated classic. The spirit is produced by first distilling Caribbean bitter oranges, and then blending the resulting essence with V.S.O.P. quality Cognac from the finest growing regions. This dual composition results in a complex, rich, and velvety profile. The aroma features notes of Cognac, vanilla, and candied orange peel. On the palate, the sweetness of the orange is perfectly balanced by the dry, structured warmth of the aged brandy. It has a long finish and is bottled at 40% ABV.
