Metaxa Ouzo is a traditional Greek anise-flavored spirit, delicately balanced with mastic resin from the evergreen Lentisk bush, giving it a gentle sea breeze and floral character. It is batch distilled in copper pot stills, capturing a velvety texture and a rich, aromatic profile with notes of anise and a subtle pine/cedar flavor. Typically enjoyed as an aperitif, it pairs well with seafood and Greek mezze.
