Cles des Ducs VSOP Armagnac is a sophisticated Bas Armagnac, aged for 10 years and more, with an initial period in new oak barrels. This careful maturation process in the Gascony region results in a very balanced, smooth, and welcoming eau-de-vie bottled at 40% ABV. The nose is rich and spicy with a hint of warm wood and a complex, honeyed background. On the palate, this Armagnac offers a harmonious blend of fruity and sweet spicy notes. Expect the characteristic dried fruits of Bas-Armagnac, such as prunes and sultana, alongside notes of fresh apple and quince. Vanilla, cacao, and almond add further complexity.
