This country, the world's leading producer, is known for the high quality of its produce, which is still produced by small family farms. The fruit quality is as important as the maceration and distillation know-how in restoring all the body and greediness of King Chocolate: the best Ivory coast beans, slightly roasted and crushed, are carefully processed in our pot-still, which liberates all the aroma and flavour of the Cocoa. Joseph Cartrons Brown Cacao Liqueur gains mellowness and structure from the addition of Cognac.
Tasting note: The first wave in the mouth is syrupy, unctuous, and generous, with hints of fresh butter. Vanilla and gingerbread notes.
